2. Character Naming Rules

• All character names must adhere to the following guidelines. Names that violate any of the below rules will be changed to a randomly generated Tibia name:

  • b) Are racist or discriminatory.
  • c) Refer to sexual content or acts.
  • d) Promote or reference drugs or drug culture.
  • e) Are related to crimes or criminal activities.
  • f) Target or harass other players.
  • g) Induce disgust or discomfort.
  • h) Advertise products, services, or external platforms.
  • i) Reference religion, politics, or ideology.
  • j) Imply violations of game rules or mechanics.
• Violations of naming rules may result in forced name changes, warnings, or account penalties.

3. No Cheating or Exploiting

• Using bots, macros, or any external programs to gain an unfair advantage is prohibited.
• Exploiting bugs, glitches, or unintended mechanics for personal gain is forbidden.
• Players are required to report any bugs or exploits to the administration immediately.

4. No Harassment or Griefing

• Harassment, griefing, or intentionally disrupting another player's experience is strictly prohibited. This includes:
  • Blocking access to key locations, NPCs, or respawn areas.
  • Intentionally trapping other players in locations where they cannot escape.
• Harassment through private messages is not allowed. Examples include:
  • Sending repeated unwanted messages to another player.
  • Using private messages to insult, threaten, or intimidate others.
  • Spamming players with irrelevant or disruptive content.

5. Chat and Communication Rules

• Players are expected to maintain a respectful and friendly tone in all forms of communication.
• Offensive, racist, or sexist language is not allowed in public or private chats.
• Spamming, flooding, or advertising other servers is strictly prohibited.
• Any violation of chat rules may result in muting, temporary bans, or further penalties.

6. Guild Conduct

• Guilds must operate within the server rules. A guild found to encourage or tolerate rule-breaking behavior may face disbandment.
• Using guilds to target or harass specific players or groups is prohibited.

7. Penalties for Rule Violations

• Penalties for breaking the rules may include, but are not limited to:
  • Verbal warnings.
  • Temporary bans (account or character).
  • Permanent bans in severe cases.
• The administration will determine penalties based on the severity and context of the violation.

8. Reporting Violations

• Players are encouraged to report any rule violations through the official reporting channels (e.g., in-game system or Discord).
• When submitting a report, please include evidence such as screenshots, chat logs, or recordings.

9. Additional Rules

• Account sharing is strongly discouraged. The account owner is responsible for any actions taken on their account.
• Players must respect the decisions of the administration and refrain from questioning penalties publicly.

10. Logging Messages

• All messages sent on the server (public chat, private messages, and system messages) are logged.
• Logs are maintained to ensure compliance with the rules, detect abuse, and improve server security.
• By using the server, players accept that their messages will be logged.
• Log data will not be shared with third parties unless required by law.

11. Additional Information

• While Rookgaard.live is an independent server, players are encouraged
• to consider the general principles of fair play and respect that are core
• to the original Tibia experience. Any actions that conflict with the spirit of
• those principles may be reviewed by the administration for appropriateness.

12. Lying to Administrators or Framing Other Players

• Players are prohibited from providing false information or lying to administrators, server owners, or other staff members regarding any situation or event that has occurred in the game.
• Framing other players by providing false accusations or misleading reports with the intention of causing harm to another player or misleading staff is strictly forbidden.
• Any player found guilty of intentionally misleading the administration or framing other players will face severe penalties, including but not limited to:
  • Temporary or permanent account bans.
  • Character or guild disbandment.
• Reports of violations should be made truthfully and with evidence. False reports may be treated as a violation of this rule.
